The Big Three of Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, and Jordan Spieth were all the talk coming into the U.S Open.

On Monday, TaylorMade Golf announced that Rickie Fowler will make his 2019 PGA Tour debut this week at Torrey Pines playing the brand’s golf balls and wearing its gloves.

The now 30-year old fan favorite will tee it up at the Farmers Insurance Open using a TaylorMade TP5x golf ball. It’s reportedly the first time Fowler will be playing a ball other than Titleist, going back to his amateur and collegiate playing days at Oklahoma.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Rickie to the TaylorMade family,” said David Abeles, TaylorMade’s CEO.

“He is one of the great athletes in the game today and even more so, an incredible representative of our sport. Rickie’s decision to come to TaylorMade and play our TP5x golf ball further reinforces our belief that if you make the best performing products, the best in the world will choose to play them.”

According to the press release, Fowler will play No. 15 balls in honor of his competitive youth motor-cross days in Southern California.

The financial terms of the multiyear deal were not disclosed.
