Rickie Fowler To Take Four-Shot Lead into Sunday’s Finale at WM Phoenix Open

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – Rickie Fowler shot a third-day 64 at TPC Scottsdale and will take a four-shot lead into Sunday’s finale of the 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The 30-year old Fowler finished the day at the Stadium Course with nine pars, one bogey and eight birdies, including four gains over the first six holes to maintain the marquee position at 20-under par.

Alone in second-place was Matt Kuchar, who posted a 65 en route to a three-day score of 16 under. Kuchar, who will paired with Fowler in Sunday’s final group, signed for a clean card comprised of 12 pars and six birdies.

One further back was Justin Thomas who carded a 68 to reach 15-under par, good for solo third-place.

Byeong-Hun An (67) and Branden Grace (68) were next at T4 on 13 under, a stroke better than Bubba Watson (68) and defending champion Gary Woodland, who signed for a 66, highlighted by a chip-in birdie on the 18th hole.
