After Rory McIlroy won his fourth major at the 2014 PGA Championship, the odds of him teeing off eight years later, at the 2022 Masters, with the same four majors seemed nearly improbable.

Yet that’s what will happen.

After four rounds at the 2021 Open Championship, McIlroy finished even-par 280 with scores of 70-70-69-71.

His major results for 2021 are: MC, MC, T7, and T46* (*as of now).
