Round 3 Tee Times, TV: The Open Championship

After two days of play at Royal Birkdale, the 156-player field for the Open Championship has been cut to 77 golfers who will do battle for the right to hoist the Claret Jug on Sunday.

Early on Friday, the cut had been projected at 3-under, but as the weather and scores worsened, the cut line expanded, eventually settling at 5-under.

With leader Jordan Spieth at 6-under, realistically, players at 3 to 4-over and worse have little chance. The second-round leader/co-leader has held on to win 46 times, most recently Rory McIlroy in 2014.

The first Saturday tee time is at 4:20 AM (EST) with South Africa’s Shaun Norris teeing off alone. He is followed by a couple of England’s native sons, Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose at 4:30 AM. The final group of two Americans Matt Kuchar and Jordan Spieth go off at 10:55 AM.
