Francesco Molinari posted an even-par 72 in the second round at Eagle Point, but in tough conditions, it was good enough to maintain his spot atop the leaderboard at the Wells Fargo Championship through 36 holes.

The Italian stands at 6-under par and is one clear of John Peterson, Billy Hurley III, and Seamus Power, who are tied for second at 5-under.
