Bernhard Langer and his son Jason won the 2024 PNC Championship in a playoff against Tiger Woods and his son Charlie, marking their sixth career victory at the PGA Tour’s annual season-ending family event.
The day was highlighted by Charlie Woods‘ first career hole-in-one. The younger Woods aced the par-3 No. 4 hole, using a 7-iron from 176 yards.

“That was the thrill of a lifetime to be able to have that moment with Charlie, make his first hole-in-one, [daughter] Sam on the bag, just our family and friends,” said Tiger Woods. “That’s what this event is about. It’s about bonding and family.”
After Team Langer and Team Woods each finished with record 28-under par scores, the overtime was decided on the first extra hole with 67-year-old Bernhard Langer, playing from the lady’s tees, making eagle to claim victory.
The win was storybook ending for the two-time Masters winner, who tore his Achilles tendon playing pickleball in late January. At 66, many assumed the ageless wonder was finally finished. But Langer recovered in just four months and at the senior circuit’s season finale in Phoenix, he extended his record streak by winning for the 18th consecutive year.
The tournament was contested at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.
