
Sepp Straka produced a final-round 66 to claim a one-shot victory at The 2022 Honda Classic.
The 28-year-old Austrian finished his final day at PGA National with two bogeys against six birdies including three late gains on 14, 16 and 18 to reach 10-under par, one clear of Shane Lowry (67).
Straka earned $1,440,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which moves him to No. 16 on the tour’s money list and No. 14 in the points standings.
He also picked up 42 Official World Golf Rankings points and will move to No. 83 (from 176) – the first time he’s cracked the top 100.
Runner-up Lowry took home a check for $872,000 along with 300 FedEx Cup points and 25 OWGR points – moving the Irishman to No. 35 in the world rankings.
