Sepp Straka shot a final-round 66 to claim a come from behind victory at The Honda Classic.

Down five shots entering Sunday’s finale at PGA National, the 28-year-old Austrian signed for a scorecard comprised of two bogeys against six birdies, including three late gains on Nos. 14, 16 and 18 to reach 10-under par, one clear of Shane Lowry (67).

“The words aren’t really coming to me right now,” said Straka, upon becoming the first Austrian winner in PGA Tour history.

“It’s just crazy. I really don’t know what to think.”

For his first career American tour win, Straka earned $1,440,000 and 500 FedExCup points. He will move to No. 16 on the money list and 14th in FedExCup standings. He also picked up 42 OWGR points and will move into the top 100 (No. 83) in the Official World Golf Rankings for the first time in his career.
