Scottie Scheffler produced a final-round 69 at TPC Sawgrass to claim a five-shot victory over Tyrrell Hatton (65) at the 2023 PLAYERS Championship.
The 26-year-old Texan finished his final day at TPC Sawgrass five birdies, one bogey and 12 pars to reach 17 under.
With the win, Scheffler earned $4,500,000 and 600 FedEx Cup points to move to No. 1 on the tour’s money list. He also picked up 80 OWGR points to jump back to No. 1, knocking Jon Rahm off the top branch.
