The Eight Players Who Qualified for Europe’s Ryder Cup Team

With the Made in Demark tournament officially in the books, Europe’s eight automatic qualifiers for the Ryder Cup have been confirmed.

The four players who qualified through the European Points List are Francesco Molinari, Justin Rose, Tyrrell Hatton and Tommy Fleetwood.

Those qualifying via the World Points List are Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Alex Noren, and Thorbjorn Olesen.

Captain Thomas Bjorn will have the opportunity to add four wildcard picks to his team this coming Wednesday (Sep. 5), with the captain facing a tough decision.

Those reported to be in the running include Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Paul Casey, Thomas Pieters, Ian Poulter, Russell Knox, Eddie Pepperell and Matt Wallace.

Bjorn will make the announcement live at 2pm (BST) on RyderCup.com or Ryder Cup’s YouTube channel.
