Tiger Woods confirmed via a social media post on X that he is dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. and former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump.
Woods shared two photos of the couple, captioning them, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

The announcement ended weeks of speculation, as rumors of their relationship had been circulating on social media and gossip outlets since early March.
Vanessa Trump, 47, was married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018, and they share five children, including 17-year-old Youtube golf star Kai, who has committed to playing golf for the University of Miami, starting in 2026.

Woods, 49, and Vanessa reportedly began dating around Thanksgiving 2024, with their connection deepened by their children — Woods’ son Charlie, 16, and daughter Sam, 17, attend the same Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida, as Kai.
The couple had been spotted together at events like the Genesis Invitational in February 2025, where Woods is the tournament host.

Woods, known for guarding his private life after past scandals, took a rare step in going public, reminiscent of his 2013 announcement with Lindsey Vonn. The confirmation came amid a challenging year for Woods, who announced on March 11 that he’d ruptured his Achilles tendon, sidelining him from the Masters and likely the rest of the 2025 PGA Tour season.
Vanessa, meanwhile, has kept a lower profile since her divorce but shares a golfing tie with Woods: daughter Kai recently signed a sponsorship deal with TaylorMade and has been seen with him at tournaments, even wearing gear from his clothing line.

The Trump family response has been notably positive. Ivanka Trump commented on Woods’s post, “So happy for you both,” and sources indicate Donald Trump Jr. is “cool” with the relationship.
Additionally, Woods has very close ties to President Trump for years: the two play golf together often, including last month; and following his win at the 2019 Masters, Trump awarded Woods with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in a White House ceremony.
