Tiger Woods Officially Files Entry Into 2018 U.S. Open

The United States Golf Association reported that Tiger Woods officially confirmed his entry into the U.S. Open on Thursday. Woods, who has skipped the past two editions of America’s national golf championship, last played in 2015 at Chambers Bay, where he missed the cut with rounds of 80-76.

Woods will play on his final year of a 10-year exemption from winning the 2008 U.S. Open (Torrey Pines).

The 2018 U.S. Open will be contested at Shinnecock Hills, June 14-17.
