Tiger Woods posted a 1-over 71 at PGA National in the second round of The Honda Classic, and is just four shots off the lead heading into the weekend.
Starting the day on the front at the Champions course, Woods offset a bogey on No. 2 with birdies on 4 and 9 to turn at 1-under 34.
On the homeward nine, Woods added six more pars, along with a run of double bogey-bogey-birdie at the Bear Trap (Nos. 15-17) to sign for a 1-over 71.
“I feel like I’m right there. I’m right where I can win a golf tournament,” said Woods.
“You know, four back on this golf course with 36 holes to go, I mean, anybody can win this golf tournament right now. It’s wide open.”
