Dustin Johnson shot a final-round 68 at East Lake Golf Club to win the Tour Championship (and FedExCup) by three shots on 21-under par.
Johnson finished his final day at the iconic Atlanta golf course with two bogeys offset by four birdies, highlighted by a final-hole gain to reach 21-under par, three clear of Xander Schauffele (66) and Justin Thomas (66), who tied for second-place.
The win was Johnson’s third of the season, and 23rd of his of PGA Tour career.
Along with a pair of trophies, the 36-year old South Carolinian earned $15,000,000 and 20.3 (gross third-place) OWGR points to strengthen his hold on No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
For their runner-up finishes, Thomas and Schauffele each earned $4,500,000.
