The PGA Tour gets back to its Florida Swing, after a one-week detour to Mexico for the WGC-Mexico Championship. The Valspar Championship will be played at the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor – just outside of Tampa.
Aside from the 4 majors, Copperhead was ranked as the 3rd toughest golf course during the 2015-16 PGA Tour season.
The field at Copperhead includes 19 of the top-30 in the FedEx Cup standings, and 7 of the world top-30, including No 6 Henrik Stenson and No 7 Justin Thomas.
Former Masters champion Charl Schwartztel (28) will be back to defend his title, as will three of the four 2016 U.S. Olympians: Patrick Reed (12), Bubba Watson (16) and Matt Kuchar (20).
