During Tuesday’s practice round at TPC Sawgrass, ahead of the 2021 PLAYERS Championship, Jordan Spieth was briefly interrupted by a young fan who wanted to read his speech he wrote as part of a school report on the PGA Tour star.
“Hey Jordan, I’m doing a report on you at school. Do you want to hear my speech?” he asked, in a video posted to Twitter.
Spieth paused and said, “Sure.”
The boy then reeled off Spieth’s personal and professional highlights, without notes, without a teleprompter, and without missing a beat – unlike, um, uh, you know the thing.
When you do your report on @JordanSpieth you gotta let him hear the speech. @GolfChannel @PGATOUR @TPCSawgrass @SpiethLegion @tonyromo @JustinThomas34 @Ragolf11 @anderct1 pic.twitter.com/552rjP11YT
