Watch: Ernie Els Near-Ace at Copperhead’s 13th Hole

The Big Easy is still making it look, well, pretty easy at the Valspar Championship.

Ernie Els, starting on Copperhead’s back nine, tees off on the 189-yard par-3 13th (his 4th hole) and nearly jars it.

Els would tap in for birdie and go to 1-under through 4 holes.

Speaking of Els, check out the clutch par save he made on his second hole, the par-5 11th.

E’s tee shot lands deep in some woodsy brush, but he’s able to punch it out for neat little chip and putt for five.
