During the opening round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Jon Rahm made an incredible eagle on the par-5 10th hole.
- First, the two-time major winner blasted his tee ball, slightly to the right, but a bad bounce pushed it into the waste area along the right side.
2. With about 185 yards to the pin, Rahm hit an incredible 8-iron on his second shot, landing it about 15 feet from the hole.
3. The 2023 Masters winner then drained the eagle putt.

Rahm describes the eagle: “Yeah, downwind, par 5, swing as hard as possible. Blasted a little to the right. I didn’t expect it to take a big bounce and I had 160 metres and an 8-iron and enough of a gap to go just at the pin. Pulled it off and rolled the putt in. I did not expect to have that short eagle putt when I saw the ball on the tee because I started it off left with the wind.”
Bonus Shot: Rahm mashes it 279 yards from a bunker.
