In the second round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, Jon Rahm hit his ball into some seaweed along the beach which borders the par-5 12th hole at Kingsbarns Golf Links.
After delicately moving away some of the seaweed covering his ball, Rahm hit his third shot into a greenside bunker. The 29-year-old Spaniard, though, got up and down, highlighted by a clutch 10-footer to save par.
Rahm finished his second day in Scotland with four bogeys offset by three birdies and an eagle for a somewhat disappointing 1-under 71, especially considering he opened with a low-round 65 at the more challenging Carnoustie layout.
The 2023 Masters champ currently sits T29 on 8 under, six off the lead of halftime co-leaders Nicolas Colsaerts and Cam John.
After playing Carnoustie and Kingsbarns in his opening rounds, Rahm will tee it up at the Old Course at St Andrews for round three.
