On Friday at Liberty National, Jordan Spieth shot a course-record-tying 62 to move from T72 after day one to T10 at halftime of The Northern Trust 2021.
Spieth’s low-round 62 was aided by back-to-back hole-out eagles on hole Nos. 5 and 6.
The first hole out was on the par-4 fifth hole: from 80 yards out, Spieth hit a perfect wedge to about 85 yards and then spun his Titleist back into the cup for an eagle-2.
