In the opening round of the WGC-Dell Match Play Championship, Patrick Cantlay found himself with a difficult lie (next to a drain) for his third shot on the par-5 12th hole at Austin Country Club.

Cantlay had just come off a birdie at the par-3 11th which tied things up after Brian Harman had led 1-up for most of the first 10 holes.

And after the 28-year old chipped in for eagle, he went 1-up, himself… and that’s exactly how it ended, as each player made par the rest of the way.

Cantlay (1-0) defeated Harman (0-1) 1-up in a Group 10 match.

On IG, the PGA Tour coined it a “Drain-o” shot, while the top comment goes to Bobby Vegas, who said, “He [Cantlay] was so excited he almost thought about smiling.”
