Ho-Sung Choi is a Korean golfer who plays primarily on the Japan Tour. The 47-year old Choi, though, is more famous for his swing than any accomplishments – although he’s won a couple of events, most notably the now defunct Indonesia PGA Championship.
What he’s really known for is owning the most idiosyncratic follow-throughs you’ll see on any Tour, or for that matter… anywhere.
The swing has been dubbed “The Fisherman Swing” and it’s gained the Korean golfer quite a following on social media.
Ahead of the European Tour’s Magical Kenya Open, Choi took part in the Tour’s social media promotion, using his swing to create some social buzz around the event.
In the video, other Euro Tour players are shown trying to copy the unique swing.
