With the Stanley Cup finals in full swing (Series tied 2-2, Game 5 tonight in Boston), the Canadian Open couldn’t have appeared on the PGA Tour schedule at a more perfect time.

In this video produced by the Tour’s media folks, some of the field’s big names attempt to score on a hockey net from 285 yards out, according to Rory McIlroy.

Hey, when in Canada do as the Canucks do: Play hockey, eh!

Canada’s Mackenzie Hughes seemed to have the best miss, hitting the crossbar on the fly, then saying, “Are you sh##ting me?” After investigating the ding on the bright red-painted crossbar, Hughes called it, “center cut.”

Also, bonus points to Bubba Watson for the Canadian accent: “That ice bounce different.”

Sweden’s Alex Noren and Henrik Stenson each scored goals. Don’t tell that to Don Cherry.
