In the third round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic, on the par-5 14th hole, Rickie Fowler hit his tee ball 303 yards, leaving himself with a 264-yard approach.
The fan favorite, though, either toed his fairway metal or topped it. Fowler’s approach was definitely a classic worm burner but perfectly navigated its way along the water’s edge and rolled onto the green, leading to a birdie 4.
Fowler signed for a 4-under 68 on moving day, and was T15 on 9-under par.
