Olesen On Fire, Leads Turkish Airlines Open

Thorbjorn Olesen fired a second round 62 at the Turkish Airlines Open, and is the surprise leader after 36 holes.

The 26-year-old from Denmark has made the cut in just 3 of his last 13 starts, but thanks to a hot putter, and shots like this one on the 17th hole, Olesen finds himself with a 6-stroke lead at 15-under par.

Olesen leads the field in putting, finishing his round with 7 birdies… and 1 long eagle.

Other Notables in the Turkey field: Thongchai Jaidee (-9), Andy Sullivan (-4), Paul Lawrie (-3), Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston (-2), Lee Westwood (-2), Padraig Harrington (-1), Victor Dubuisson (-1), Danny Willett (+1)
