With a birdie on the final hole, Cameron Champ posted a final-round 67 to claim a one-stroke victory at the Safeway Open.

Champ finished his final day at Silverado Country Club with five birdies against two bogeys to reach 17-under par, one better than Adam Hadwin (65).

The win was Champ’s second of his young career, and will move the 24-year old Northern California native back into the top 100 in the world rankings.
