On Monday at TPC Sawgrass’ Stadium Course, Cameron Smith posted a final-round 66 to claim a one-shot victory over Anirban Lahiri at The 2022 PLAYERS Championship.
The 28-year-old Aussie finished his final day in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with four bogeys against 10 birdies to reach 13-under par.
For his fifth career PGA Tour title, and second of the season, Smith earned $3,600,000 and 600 FedEx Cup points. He will move to No. 6 in the world rankings – his best career position.
