Tiger Woods shot a 70 on Sunday at Augusta National Golf Club to win his 15th major title at the Masters.

Woods entered the final round of the season’s first major two off the pace of 54-hole leader Francesco Molinari, and through 11 holes was even-par on the day – still two back of the Italian. But following birdies on Nos. 13 and 15, coupled with double bogeys by Molinari on 12 and 15, Woods held the solo lead. He added another birdie on the 16th to pull ahead by two, which allowed the American icon to play his final two holes conservatively.

After a tap-in bogey on the 18th, Woods let out a familiar roar which sent the patrons at Augusta National into a frenzy.

Woods finished the day with four bogeys – one of them meaningless, offset by six birdies, to secure his fifth green jacket, and first major title since the 2008 U.S. Open.

For his 81st career PGA Tour title, the 43-year old California native earned $2,070,000, along with 100 world-ranking. He will move to No. 6 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
