Xander Schauffele shot a final-round 68 at TPC River Highlands to claim a two-shot victory at the 2022 Travelers Championship.
The San Diego native finished his final day in the Nutmeg State with two bogeys against four birdies highlighted by a final-hole gain to reach 19-under par, two clear of J.T. Poston (64) and Sahith Theegala (67), who double bogeyed 18 to fall from the top spot.
For his sixth career PGA Tour title, Schauffele earned $1,494,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which moved him inside the top 10 in both money (10th) and points (8th). He also picked up 54 world ranking points and is expected to jump four spots, from 15th to No. 11.
