On Sunday at a sun-splashed Southern Hills, Justin Thomas produced a final-round 67 and then topped Will Zalatoris in a playoff to claim victory at the 2022 PGA Championship.
Thomas’ final day at the Tulsa course included two bogeys against five birdies en route to a four-day total of 5-under par.
It was the 29-year-old Kentucky native’s 15th PGA Tour victory, and second major title – both coming at the PGA.
Thomas secured the season’s second major playing a full bag of Titleist gear, from a TSi3 driver down to a Pro V1x golf ball.
