Jon Rahm, No. 7 in the world, will attempt a defend of his 2018 title against a field that is comprised of just six players ranked in the world top 50, headlined by No. 1 Justin Rose and five-time major winner Phil Mickelson (No. 34).

For the opening three rounds, Rahm will be paired with the man he took down in a playoff last season, Chez Reavie. The duo will start out with a 1:20 pm tee time at La Quinta Country Club, followed by the Nicklaus Course (Fri) and Stadium Course (Sat).

Rose will be tee off with Zach Johnson for the first three days, while Mickelson will be joined by young Aaron Wise.
