PGA Tour rookie Sahith Theegala, who’s playing on a sponsor’s invite, will take a one-shot lead into the finale of the 2022 WM Phoenix Open.
Following a Saturday round of 69, the Pepperdine alum was 14-under par, one shot clear of Brooks Koepka (68), and two clear of Talor Gooch (67), Patrick Cantlay (68), Xander Schauffele (69) and Scottie Scheffler, who carded a tournament-low 62.
Headliners within six shots of the lead include Hideki Matsuyama (-11), Louis Oosthuizen (-9), Bubba Watson (-9), Justin Thomas (-8) and Jon Rahm (-8).
