With the 2018 PGA Tour season in the rearview mirror, and Ryder Cup week upon us, we thought we’d take a look ahead to the 2019 season – which actually starts next week in Napa Valley – but specifically a peak at the major golf championships.
While Augusta National annually hosts the Masters Tournament, the other three majors are contested at different golf courses each year.
Here’s a look at the schedule, along with the host venue, for the 2019 major golf championships. One major change to note, the PGA Championship has moved from its traditional spot in August to a mid May date, allowing for a more compressed PGA Tour season, while also offering better sequence to the four majors (one per month, April-July).
