
The PGA Tour moves to the Hartford, Connecticut for the 65th edition of the Travelers Championship. Last year, Bubba Watson defeated Paul Casey with a birdie on the 2nd playoff hole. It was Bubba’s second Travelers’ title.

2. Best 18 Hole Score
Two Players have shot 60 at the Travelers Championship.
- Â In 1954, Tommy Bolt shot an 11-under 60 in the 2nd round at the Wethersfield Country Club. He would go on to win that week.
- In 2011, Patrick Cantlay shot a 10-under par, 60 in the 2nd round at the current venue, TPC River Highlands. He would go on to finish T-24 that year.
3. Best 72 Hole Score
Kenny Perry holds the record for the lowest 72-Hole score at the Travelers Championship. In 2009, he shot rounds of 61, 68, 66 and 63 at TPC River Highlands, to finish the week at -22, 258. David Toms was the runners-up with a score of 251.
4. Largest Come from Behind Win
Back in 2005, Brad Faxon started the final round seven shots behind leader Justin Rose, and shot a final round 61(-9) to get into the playoff with Tjaart van der Walt. Faxon would birdie the first hole of the sudden death playoff to win.

In 1955, Sam Snead won the event with scores of 66, 68, 66, 69 for a total of 269 (-15), and won by 7 strokes over Fred Hawkins and Mike Souchak. It remains the largest margin of victory at the championship.
