World No. 1 Nelly Korda continued her blistering 2026 form on Sunday, cruising to a four-shot victory at the Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba for her third LPGA win of the season — and her second in as many weeks.

The 27-year-old American fired a final-round 3-under 69 to finish at 17-under 271, pulling away from Thailand’s Arpichaya Yubol (who shot a 70 on her 24th birthday) in second place.

Korda built a massive lead as large as seven shots before a late bogey on the 72nd hole — only her second of the week — ended a remarkable 60-hole bogey-free streak.

Back-to-Back Dominance

Fresh off a commanding win at the Chevron Championship (her third major title) the previous week, Korda showed no signs of letting up. She has now recorded top-two finishes in all six events she’s played this year: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, T2, 1st, 1st. That streak ties her with Annika Sorenstam for one of the best starts to a season in LPGA history.

Her precision and consistency were on full display at El Camaleón Golf Club, where she delivered bogey-free rounds earlier in the week and capped Round 3 with a stunning eagle.

Historic Run Continues

Korda’s latest triumph marks her 17th LPGA victory overall. She admitted golf “humbled” her on the final hole but was all smiles afterward — even laughing when the trophy broke during celebrations.

With the win, the American star is taking a well-deserved break next week, skipping the Mizuho Americas Open to recharge after an intense stretch.

What’s next?

At this rate, Korda is making a strong case for one of the greatest seasons in women’s golf. The LPGA’s best will have their work cut out trying to catch the unbeatable No. 1 as she chases more hardware later in 2026.
