DJ Favored To Win Hero World Challenge; Tiger a Longshot

Tiger Woods will tee it up in an event for the time in over 16 months this weekend at the Hero World Challenge. With a loaded field, and uncertainty of his game, Las Vegas is not buying into the hype of the Big Cat’s return at Albany.

The 14-time major champ, who will reportedly play with Patrick Reed in round one, has been given 40/1 odds to win the tournament he hosts – which is dead last.

The favorite in the Bahamas is Dustin Johnson, the PGA Tour’s POY. The reigning U.S. Open champ checks in with 9-2 odds.

Both Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyami (who was last seen lapping a star-studded field at the WGC-HSBC in China) sit at 13/2, while three Ryder Cup participants round out the Top 5: Henrik Stenson (10/1), Brooks Koepka (10/1), and Patrick Reed (12/1).
