Eddie Pepperell holds a share of the 54-hole lead at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters after opening rounds of 65, 69, and 66.
The 27-year old Englishman has a reputation of being the European Tour’s version of Grayson Murray on Twitter, albeit a bit smarter.
As Pepperell once tweeted, “The beauty of having no sponsors, is that you can actually say what you think. The 21st century is just a shit show of mirages.”

However, on Saturday at the par-5 12th, Pepperell acted more like comedian Bill (no relation to Grayson) Murray at Pebble Beach, as he bounced his third and fourth shots off the rocks, and then airmailed the fifth for a hole-out bogey.
