Jim Herman shot a final-round 63 to claim a one-stroke victory at the Wyndham Championship.
Herman finished his final day at Sedgefield Country Club with a single bogey against six birdies and a long-bomb putt for eagle to reach 21-under par, one clear of Billy Horschel (65).
The win was Herman’s second in less than 13 months, and third of his PGA Tour career.
Along with the Sam Snead Cup, the 42-year old Ohio native earned $1,152,000 and 500 FedExCup points. He also secured 50 first-place OWGR points to crack the top 100 (No. 91) for the second time in his career.
For his runner-up finish, Horschel earned $697,600 and 300 FedExCup points. He also picked up 30 OWGR points to move up to No. 30 (from 38).
