Nike’s involvement in the game of golf just got a whole lot bigger. World’s no. 1 bigger.
As reported by Darren Rovell, Nike has inked Jason Day to a shoes, hat and apparel endorsement deal worth reportedly $10 million per year.

Day is a well known Taylor Made and Adidas guy but will no longer be sporting the familiar three stripes on his outfits. The move will take place in 2017 after Day’s contract ends with Adidas after this year.
This is a brilliant move by Nike signing the best player in the world to wear it’s swoosh on the heels of the company getting out of the equipment business. Now that they’re done making clubs they can focus on what they do best: market athletes and their clothing/shoes.
Other recognizable players wearing Nike right now are Rory McIlroy, Paul Casey, Brooks Koepka, and of course Tiger Woods.
