Odds To Win: 2017 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational

0

This week’s WGC Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Ohio will be headlined by World No. 1 Dustin Johnson, along with recent British Open winner Jordan Spieth (No. 2). The all-star field also includes nearly every big name in golf.

The defending champ is the aforementioned Johnson, who overcame Jason Day in the final round, and edged eventual runner-up Scott Piercy by a single-stroke.

Other former champions in the field include Rory McIlroy (2014) and Adam Scott (2011).

Spieth, who has wins in each of his last two starts (in rather dramatic fashion) is the slight favorite this week, listed at 8/1.

The defending champ Johnson, along with McIlroy, another Bridgestone winner, check in with 9/1 odds.

Rickie Fowler, who has finished in the top 10 in each of his last four starts at Firestone, is rated at 16/1, along with U.S. Open winner Brooks Koepka.

World No. 3. Hideki Matsuyama (18/1) is the only other player in the field with better than 20/1 odds.

Here’s a look at the complete list of betting odds for this week’s PGA Tour event in Akron, Ohio.
