Sergio’s Newborn Daughter Named After The Masters’ Famous Flowers

In a post to Instagram, Sergio Garcia published a photo of his wife Angela, holding their newborn baby girl, named Azalea.

Sergio wrote: “‪Beautiful Azalea Adele Garcia was born on March 14 at 1:54am. So proud and impressed with my wife @theangelaakins and the way she handled the pregnancy and delivery! Love you both so much??‬”

The reigning Masters champion placed fourth at Innisbrook on Sunday, capped by a 6-under-par 65 that matched Paul Casey for the best of the day.

“If everything goes well, I’ll be able to play Match Play,” Garcia said on his way out of Innisbrook. “Hopefully that’s the way it goes. … If not, I’ll be with my wife and my little girl.”

As we all know, the azaleas at Augusta National are as much a part of the Masters as green jackets and Amen Corner.
