Stephen Gallacher birdied three of his final four holes on Sunday to claim his fifth career title, and first in five years, at the Hero Indian Open.
The 44-year-old Scot overcame a quadruple-bogey on the 7th hole to finish 1-under-par 71 and 9 under for the tournament.
Making it more special for the popular Tour veteran, Gallacher won on Mother’s Day with his son on the bag.
“It was great to have him on the bag and Mother’s Day as well makes it even more special,” said Gallacher.
“When you’re 44 you’re in the sort of twilight so it’s a big win for me. It was good to finish it out the way I did it, three under for the last four is a great way to finish.”
Japan’s Masahiro Kawamura (73) was one shot back, while Spaniard Jorge Campillo (67) one further back.
