Scottie Scheffler produced a final-round 71 to claim a three-shot victory over Rory McIlroy at the 2022 Masters Tournament.
The 25-year-old Texan finished his final day at the iconic Augusta National Golf Club with four birdies, 12 pars, one bogey, and one (meaningless) double bogey on the final hole to settle on 10-under par.
Scheffler earned $2,700,000 and 600 FedExCup points, which cements his No. 1 position on both the tour’s money list and points standings.
He also picked up 100 Official World Golf Rankings points and will further solidify his hold on the No. 1 spot.
Runner-up McIlroy took home a check for $1,620,000 along with 330 FedEx Cup points and 60 OWGR points, moving from No. 9th to 7th.
