Updated (5/6/2019): For the 2019 PGA Tour season, through 25 tournament weeks, a total of 65 players have earned at least $1 million – up two from last week.
With 16 events to go, including several big-money events (majors, WGCs, playoffs), it appears there will be at least another 60 who will hit the million-dollar mark.
Aided by two wins and a pair of top-5s, Matt Kuchar still leads the Tour with $5,394,944 – about $300k ahead of Rory McIlroy ($5,068,264). Although, Rory is the leader in terms of earnings per start ($506,826/10 starts), which is about $40k clear of Tiger Woods ($467,452/6 starts). Kuchar was off for a second-straight week, while McIrloy returned from a two-week break and finished T8 at the Wells Fargo Championship.
The season’s other two-time winner, Xander Schauffele rounds out the top-3 leaders with $4,485,399. Schauffele is one of only three players who’ve earned over $4 million on the season. Seven more players have taken home over $3 million (up two from last week), including world Nos. 1 and 3, Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka, respectively.
