Donald Trump congratulated Cam Smith on his maiden major victory yesterday at St Andrews. The 45th POTUS also predicted that the PGA Tour loyalists will come up empty when the inevitable merger with LIV occurs.

“All those golfers that remain “loyal” to the very disloyal PGA, in all of its different forms (referring to golf’s governing bodies) will pay a big price when the inevitable MERGER with LIV comes, and you get nothing but a big “thank you” from PGA officials who are making Millions of Dollars a year,” Trump posted to Truth Social.

“If you don’t take the money now, you will get nothing after the merger takes place, and only say how smart the original signees were.

“Good luck to all, and congratulations to really talented Cam Smith on his incredible WIN!”

The LIV Golf tour will be teeing off at Trump’s award-winning New Jersey course, July 29-31, for the LIV Golf Invitational – Bedminster.

  1. The very disloyal PGA is spot on. As a big Justin Thomas fan, I was blown away at the lack of support they showed him a few years ago when he made an inappropriate, albeit innocent comment, for which he apologized. He was canceled, lost endorsements and paid the price. I, of course do not know JT whatsoever, but I see a guy who truly loves people, was raised by great parents and respects everyone. Not a hateful bone in his body. The PGA should have had his back and supported him. They had an opportunity. Instead they laid back and watched a guy who brings them millions of dollars and notoriety get beat up over it. Not much loyalty there.
