Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan got off to a hot start on Saturday morning at Pebble Beach Golf Links with a birdie-eagle out of the gate.
The QB looks like a legit golfer, but many commenters (er trolls) on Instagram took over the post, and reminded everyone of Ryan’s blown lead at Super Bowl 51 against Tom Brady and the Patriots.
Some of the trolling went like this:
- If only he could hold a 25 point lead
- How long till he pulls a Matt Ryan
- If he’s Playing Brady he’ll lose on the back nine
- We all know how this ends
- Let’s see how he finishes…. lol
- Hes gonna finish bogey bogey bogey
- Pretty sure he will give up the lead down the stretch
- Birdie-eagle followed by a pick-6
- The trolls are out for this post
No matter your opinion of Ryan’s performance in the Super Bowl a couple years back, there’s no doubt Matty Ice has a nice swing.
