Watch Jason Norris’ One-Hop Dunk For Eagle

In the third round of the Volvo China Open, Jason Norris got too much ball on his chip shot at the par-4 15th hole. But thankfully for the Aussie, the pin got in the way his Titleist, and Norris signed for an eagle-2.

The European Tour’s media team posted the clip with the question, “Lucky or good?”

One commenter said it best, “Gotta be good to be lucky and lucky to be good.”

Another noted (with no apparent irony), “It doesn’t matter; there’s no pictures or videos on scorecards.”

Norris’ good fortune continued, as he nearly aced the next hole, the par-3 16th. The late eagle and birdie allowed the 45-year old to gain three shots down the stretch to move to T19 at 8 under, just four back of co-leaders Adrian Otaegui and Matt Wallace.
