Watch ‘Muscles McIlroy’ Hit a Combined 670 Yards on Back-to-Back Drives

Rory McIlroy’s new nickname should be “Muscles McIlroy” after these back-to-back drives in round one of The Barclays.

Most impressive is that these bombs are on back to back holes coming at No. 4, and No. 5 at Bethpage Black. McIlroy would go on to birdie the 4th and par the 5th.

If he could only figure out his short game he’d likely be back on top of the world rankings with drives like these. Recently he changed up his putter and is using a Scotty Cameron at The Barclays so he is making an attempt.
