Jon Rahm, who played his college golf at Arizona State, is in the field this week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. The 22-year-old rising star is obviously feeling relaxed, and confident following his big win at Torrey Pines.
In the opening round, the former world #1 amateur donned an ASU football jersey with his nickname blazoned across the back – Rahmbo – at the iconic 16th hole to get the fans pumped up (as if they need to).
Interestingly, “Rahmbo” actually wore the jersey for his tee shot, which went a little to the right but still safe.
