This week’s WGC-Mexico Championship is being held on a new venue and should make it a little harder to chose your DraftKings lineup.
The players will be competing at Club de Golf Chapultepec, which is a very narrow course that plays 7,330 yards and is a Par-71.
Here’s my advice to help your DraftKings lineup.
Biggest Risk/Reward
Rory McIlroy $10,900
McIlroy is coming off a minor injury that has caused him to miss a few events but I think everyone knows how McIlroy has the potential to win this week.
*I picked Rickie Fowler to be the biggest risk/reward last week and he won. Just saying.
High Price Picks
Dustin Johnson $12,500
Jordan Spieth $11,500
Spieth and Johnson are both very high priced picks this week but they are pretty much guaranteed a Top-5 finish due to their previous stats. Johnson and Spieth have recorded 5 Top-5s and one win a piece.
Mid-Level Picks
Henrik Stenson $10,300
Adam Scott $9,500
Sergio Garcia $8,500
Gary Woodland $8,400
Tyrrell Hatton $8,300
Stenson is pretty high priced but this course just has the feel of Stenson and his 3-wood getting it done. Adam Scott hits it straighter than anybody in the field and with a narrow course, Scott should find himself in contention this week. Garcia, who is also very accurate off the tee is also a great fit this week.
Woodland has been on fire as of late and would be tough to pass up at $8,400. Hatton is coming off a T4 at the Honda Classic and has recorded 9 straight Top-25 finishes.
Best Bang For Your Buck
Martin Kaymer $7,500
Bill Haas $7,000
Kaymer played really well last week, finishing T4 at the Honda Classic. Haas has finished inside the Top-20 in each of his 3 events this season.
